Computational Fluid Dynamics Simulation now being offered in-house by RGL

Calgary, AB – November 14, 2018 – Fluid flow simulation using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) are now being offered in-house by experts at RGL.
 
CFD provides insights to help optimize flow control device designs, including nozzle and tool optimization. CFD enables prediction of fluid flow, heat and mass transfer, chemical reactions, and related phenomena. With the help of CFD simulation, microscopic fluid flow features that are unable to be captured during experiments, can be visualized.  In addition, the problems can be analyzed faster than by solely testing, in more detail, at an earlier stage in the design process, and with lower risk.
 
Results from CFD analysis can help confirm laboratory testing results coming out of RGL’s in-house flow loop testing apparatus, providing clients with even more data intelligence for their operations.
