Calgary, AB – Brad Gamroth, Director of Finance of RGL has been named Chief Financial Officer. In this role, Mr. Gamroth will oversee all accounting, financial and operational reporting including monitoring KPI analysis for RGL.
“Not only is Brad an outstanding financial professional, he is also a true oil and gas guy, having worked as a field operator for a period of time before going ‘pro’,” said RGL CEO Rene VandenBrand. “I look forward to working with Brad in guiding RGL going forward.”
Gamroth holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with Distinction from the University of Alberta and is a Chartered Accountant. He was also recently named as Treasurer of the Canadian Heavy Oil Association.
Prior to joining RGL, he spent time operating oil batteries in Swan Hills and Hamburg, Alberta (conventional light oil), eventually becoming lead operator for Arcan Resources. Gamroth also spent 5 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers Edmonton in their audit and assurance division. He also worked in the United States on a large SEC registrant, based out of San Francisco, CA. Gamroth came to RGL in March 2014 as Accounting Manager and eventually Director of Finance before being named to his current role.
